Detailed Settings
The basic settings available on the web page are just a fraction of the full functionality of the PacketiX VPN 2.0 Server. To administrate your Virtual Hub in detail, you can use either the Administration Manager software tool or an ActiveX control.
Using the wealth of options offered by PacketiX VPN 2.0 Server
The VPN Online Test Environment uses SoftEther Corporation's PacketiX VPN 2.0 Server. This software is introduced in Chapter 3 of the PacketiX VPN Online Manual. It comes with a wealth of networking and security functions. The administrator of the Virtual Hub can use all of these functions and settings freely.
Yet, a part of these functions are not available on the website, you must install a special administration tool on your PC to access these.
Detailed configuration with the VPN Server Manager
As explained on the previous page, detailed and high-level settings are not available on the website.
Instead, you can use the VPN Server manager, a GUI configuration tool for PacketiX VPN 2.0 Server / Bridge. See Chapter 2.4 of the PacketiX VPN Online Manual for details.
Both the VPN Server Manager and the command line tool vpncmd log into the Virtual Hub in administration mode.

From the Virtual Hub administration page, you can select "More detailed administration" to start the ActiveX control version of the VPN Server Manager. In that case, a screen similar to the one below will appear in your web browser.
Log into the Virtual Hub administration page and select "More detailed administration" for more information.
